I started my CrossFit journey in late 2014 at another local gym. I was immediately taken by Crossfit and believe that it is everything that I've been looking for since I stopped playing soccer. I come from a sports-based family with professional baseball players, soccer and boxers. But I've always been that kinda-chunky kid, yet still athletic.

I played soccer in college, got married, kids, etc. and grew lazy with my desk job. I finally had enough and started looking for something that was team-based, but would get me toned up and in shape. Heading towards middle-age, it's not easy, but thanks to the coaching and advice I've received from others in the CF community, I feel like I can do this for a long time. I've even started a podcast on Crossfit and drink the Kool-Aid every single day and promote CF as much as I can.

Since moving to Forge and getting back to CF after a slight back injury (unrelated to CF), I have no regrets. Rich runs a great gym and I can't say enough about the coaching staff and the other members. It's a great community and I'm proud to be a part of Forge Fitness.
